Freedom House Church "oh I have a deep love in my heart for FHC. Pastors are awesome there and it was the first church that welcomed me when I needed a home. I am still working on giving and taking with people but I appreciate all the love and sermons I recieve while I am all the way across the country in Seattle, Washington. God Bless you... over and over and hopefully we will see and hug again." Crystal M.

Freedom House Church "I feel so BLESSED to have found FHC. My little told me yesterday he wishes he could stay in his class forever. Everytime I walk into the gym, it's hard to even catch my breath because of how OVERWHELMING it is. I'm really hoping that my husband and I can finally settle to the house of worship that the Lord wants us at..., Lord knows I hope it's this one LOL! Thank you for making FHC such an AMAZING place." Freedom House Church "It was the sight of an angel looking down...at one of your members as she witnessed to a friend that linked me to FHC...I didn't expect to see your pastors dress like hippies from my time which I thought was cool. But it was the distinct way they expressed themselves that captivated me. I see love permeating through t...heir ministry. I pray all who walk through your doors will feel the same Spirit. Blessings!" Rey L.

Freedom House Church Some say online community isn't real. What do you think?

I think its real but doesn't replace the face to face community. Some might also agree that attending church on Sunday on your sofa watching the tv evangelist is real but we all know the benefits to real interaction and fellowship when we gather as one to worship God. As we proceed into the futuire with all the technology let us not forget that ... See Moretrue fellowship is when the people of God gather together in face to face contact. We can't hide behind the computer or our blackberry! We need to see othes in true worship and true emotion. Especially leaders don't use technology as a replacement to a good old fashion phone call or home visit.

When I am not traveling I work from a home office and I have to say that if it weren't for some form of physical social interaction (i.e. going out with wife, friends, etc) I'd go insane. I can facebook all day long but not feel ANY closer to any of my friends but I still see A LOT of value in an online community. Being in the presence of people ... See Moregives a sense that you belong and sometimes you can find out things about people that you never knew and you can relate to them much easier. It's weird, even if my wife comes home, we still have to get out of the house and be around people. Another positive note about the online community is that some people reach out for help via facebook, twitter, blogs, etc and you can send encouragement that they can read, let it sink in, and go back to if they face difficulty in the future. So, I guess my answer to the question would be that it's virtually real?!?
