Considering what went down in the House last night, with all of us soon to be ordered to buy insurance or go to prison, we might have to change that slogan to "Remember, remember the 7th of November."

It depends on what you consider "cold." :-). There are definitely four seasons here. You should come to the Liberty Forum in March to get a feel for what the weather is like at the end of winter.

Does anyone remember Ed and Elaine Brown? They were the New Hampshire couple who were attacked by federal goons from the IRS ( not an actual government agency) and charged for not "paying their fair share".... or tax evasion.
The County Sheriff refused to protect the Browns from federal encroachment, thus allowing th...e feds to violate the Tenth Amendment to the US Constitution.

Has your group confronted this sheriff for acting the fool?

Michael, the comparison to Waco isn't relevant because FSP participants do not live together, hold the same religion, or even the same political affiliations. We come and buy/rent our own homes. We are not all the same race, religion, or ethnicity. We live in separate parts of the state; some of us rural, some of us urban, some of us suburban. ... Read MoreWe're not looking to be separate from our neighbors. We're looking to join the community in NH to achieve greater freedom in America's freest state.

While I count other FSP participants among my closest friends, we're not one cohesive group, if that makes sense.

I very much look forward to the day when all politicians from both sides of the republicrat/democrat paradigm are run out of town..... No lawyer should or anyone with a Title of Nobility, run for or hold elected office.
They've had many decades to get it right for Americans, now it's time for another class of Americans to run things.

Free State Project

Free State Project In 2006, a Free-Stater was elected to the New Hampshire House of Representatives. In 2008, he was joined by 3 more.

You may ask, "What have they done? What does it mean to have 4 libertarians elected to state office?" It's amazing to look at the list of bills sponsored by these initial four Free-Staters -- there's some great stuff here! And some of these bills even passed into law.

Charles, move here, learn NH politics by helping others get elected and run in a few years. I expect more free staters to get elected to the legislature in 2010.

I am encouraged by this event,NOW New Hampshire must
