Sondra Richardson Joiner

Sondra Richardson Joiner St. Jude became my home away from home for about 8 months in June 2007 when my 8 year old son, Trenton, was diagnosed with a brain tumor known as Medulloblastoma. I have never met such wonderful and caring people as the people who work at St. Jude. Even though they have thousands of patients, they treat you like you are the only patient they have when you first arrive. Thanks to their research through the many years, Trenton is alive and healthy today and we expect him to continue to thrive. We will always be a member of the St. Jude family and there is no other family I would rather have.

Caitlinn Elliott

Caitlinn Elliott A best friend of mine had just passed away from caner three days ago. I believe in St. Judes and will continue to support them throughout my entire life. She was only 19 years old and was the closest thing to an *angel* anyone would have ever met. R.I.P. Elizabeth Lee Tennies 06/10/2009

Thomas Christian Jensen

Thomas Christian Jensen If St. Jude really wants to fight childhood cancer, they must realize that it is not a "fight." Cancer is created through cellular toxicity, defiency, and blood and cell pH imbalance and impurity. They must study nutrition and how the body attempts to balance itself. They must study health more than disease. They must look at parent and grandparent dietary and lifestyle habits and choices, as well as the child's. They must learn to accept human responsibility for the creation of cancer, and not demonize the disease itself - which is the body's cells reacting to how they have been treated, or created through the treatment of the parents / grandparents. etc. It's time to stop throwing money at drugs and treatements that cause more harm, and get to the root of the matter.

Sondra
You are correct in that more needs to be done, but St. Jude is studying genetics and everything as best they can. I agree more money needs to be poured into that research, but I don't think they need to stop "throwing" money at drugs and treatments because without that, I wouldn't have my son right now. In our case, it is much more important to ... Read Moreme that they give my son the drugs and know that he has more time for them to find the root of the matter while I have him here on earth. I doubt that you will find any parent who has a child with cancer that would say they would rather St. Jude put all their money into getting to the root of the matter and just let the children who currently have cancer die because that's not important.
