Mission
The Frye Art Museum is dedicated to artistic inquiry, a rich visitor experience, and civic responsibility. A primary catalyst for our engagement with contemporary art and artists is the Founding Collection of late-nineteenth and early-twentieth century art by Munich-based artists. Admission to the Museum will always be free.

LOVED this exhibit! The kind of curating and contextual work you build into your exhibits and is really stellar, and there is always a smart narrative thread that runs between the different sections of the exhibits. It always makes me want to come back for more. Thanks for being such an amazing, free art space that's engaged and thoughtful in your choice for exhibits!

Patricia Boling I read an article on the internet, the article said that you had an exhibition of watercolor artist. One of the artists names listed was Paul Immel. I recently acquired a watercolor dated 1946 by Paul Immel. It was framed by Franklin Picture Frame Co. Of Chicago. It is a painting of dying roses. Would anyone in yo...ur organization know anything about this artist and his paintings. Thanks
