"Full Metal Jacket", one of the best Vietnam War movies ever, the late Stanley Kubrick did a superb job directing this movie. Matthew Modine gave a great performance as Pvt. Joker and R. Lee Ermey is awesome as Gunnery Sergeant Hartman, and Adam baldwin is awesome as Animal Mother.

The first 20 or 30 minutes of the film is set at bootcamp where the recruits are going through training and later on some over them go to fight in Vietnam. Love the story and the look on how our humanity is explored through characters like Pvt. Joker. A classic film that is timeless.

Apart from this passage, the movie is really scary while showing the dark side of the military spirit.
