Liisa Palmu

Liisa Palmu Hi,
I missed ordering a pair of soul sisters for this season in time as now they are sold out at least from the local dealer/shops (Finland). Can anyone help in finding a pair of soul sisters in size 23 or 23,5 - preferably in Europe/northern Europe, so shipping would not cost a fortune? Thanks!
I am still riding with... my 9 seasons old Raichle flexon comps so new boots would be kinda needed...

Daniel Fordice I tried on the booters and the 28 had some pressure points, while the 29 felt a tad loose. putting my foot in the shell, I had just over 2 fingers of space between my heel and the back with the 29. Do you think the 28 would be fine after heat molding? Would the 29 be even more loose after heating? thanks!

2 fingers = ?? mm.
5-15mm is a good shell fit, more then that and you foot will more around, heel lift, etc.
Odds are the tighter boot is right, and heat mold, ski them, and work on making the few tight spots bigger.

totally true - you can convert a Booter/Classic into a pseudo-Hot Dogger. That's what we are doing since Hot Doggers are sold out.

Mike

Mike Hey Dave,
I need a larger middle cable but i have a size 27 boot so I think I already have the largest cable size (245mm). Any chance you make a 255mm?

the upper has a few setting, the middle is just one.
Is the boot new for this year? try heating the liner, and buckle TIGHT while it cools to see if that is better.
also removing the rear spoiler and boot bra might help give abit more room

Chris Danton

Chris Danton I just road my new booters today. They were amazing to say the least, but halfway through the day my heel got loose and started to kill. I tried tightening the boot, and loosening nothing seemed to work. How can i fix this?

for the "killing": any new boot can take time to get used to. As long as you can ride them longer each day, you are fine.

for the "Loose" Did you check the shell fit on the boots? loose heel, in a narrow boot, on the first day, is not a good sign. remove liner, toes to the front of the shell, how much room (in mm) behind your heel and the back of the shell?

Make sure you have a good footbed - your foot needs to be stabilized properly. Once you stabilize your foot, then you can address the fit - too sloppy (add pads), too tight (start grinding). Also, check to see if an internal rivet is poking out a bit. Sometimes they don't sit perfectly flush in the boot.
