I agree that teachers don't seem to get any basics in child development, temperaments, or issues that can affect children's adaptation to a school classroom. I have heard this from many teachers. Of course many get it on their own and pick it up along the way. At the same time, so much of teaching can not be taught and comes from the person, their... Read More own temperament, their experience, and their sensitivity to children. It is a calling. The pressure and deadlines and standards testing of the No Child Left Behind era has created less room for the inspired teachers to bring their passion and creativity into the classroom, to the detriment of the kids.

I can understand that since I work with toddlers and even though I had asked for felt board pieces on my wish list I ended up having to buy my own and I was extremely excited when I received them. It's a great product.
