In response to the message on that website concering Rafa's tactics:

I don't think Nadal can alter his game that much, unless he is prepared to take a big risk. Here's the thing: his uncle Toni has a lot of influence in his game, I'd say. We all know that Nadal is not the most agressive player on the tour, due to this he makes very few unforced errors in tennis matches. Nadal is not the player who goes out for smashing 150 km/h winners, but rather wants his opponent to make the error. I don't say this is a very bad habit from Nadal, because so much players out there us this "strategy".

I don't say Nadal is a one-dimensional player, he sure is very talented. Let's not forget his mental strength, running ability and stamina. However, speculations have risen that he lost some weight, but these are still rumours. ... See More

The fact that he has been injured may not be used as an excuse for his weaker display in London, nor his personal problems. Do we all still remember Federer had mononucleosis a couple of years ago? He still made it to the semi finals of the Australian Open where Djokovic was too strong for him. Nadal's injury may be chronical, we still don't know. Didn't Nadal had injury problems previous year as well, when he missed the Davis Cup final against Argentina?

Let's not forget Nadal is playing on the professional tour since he was 16, which is very young compared to the other guys who start roughly 2 years later. If Nadal's tennis career will end at 28/29, he still had a normal career, according to Nadal himself.

This year will be a very "important" year for Nadal, will he lose his supremacy on clay, or can he prove it was all a fluke, that defeat against Soderling? (But honestly, Nadal was never good on hard courts given the fact that players like Nalbandian, Blake and Hewitt did the same thing players like Soderling, Del Potro and Davydenko do today) I really don't know. People thought Federer was done in 2008 after he lost in the semi's to Djokovic, and lost against Nadal at the French Open by a big margin, and after that Nadal ended Federer's reign at Wimbledon (7-9 in the 5th set)? But still won the US Open after that. In January of this year he lost in the final against Nadal at the Australian Open, many people were sure that Federer's reign was over (because he also lost against players like Blake and Simon in December (Olympics, Master). Also the fact that Federer didn't win a single Master title in 2008(!).

But look at Federer right now. And Nadal. It's just so unpredictable, I wouldn't be surprised if Nadal made it to the semi's of the Australian.
