All the Starhub Team Fortress 2 public servers -- with the exception of private match servers -- were abruptly taken offline yesterday, leaving gamers with few alternatives to go to for their TF2 fix.

GameSync.net understands that a current Left 4 Dead 2 mass order forum thread on GameAxis promises a cheaper L4D2 price than the retail version. The recommended retail price for Left 4 Dead 2 will be SG$62.

Painkiller: Resurrection has been sneakily released on Steam by publisher JoWood. Previously, Resurrection was slated for a 3 November release on Steam.

The Left 4 Dead 2 PC demo has finally been released on Steam, and is available for customers who have pre-purchased the game. Glen "Maddcap" Seetoh, leader of WCG '09 L4D champions Wallhackers, has played the demo and given us his first impressions of the game:

Update: We've just received an e-mail from IAHGames, the local distributors of Borderlands in Singapore. The retail release date is confirmed to be 30 October, which coincides with the revised release date for the Steam version. Borderlands will retail for SG$59.90.
