Georgia Association of REALTORS® The Unemployment Insurance extension bill containing the Homebuyer Tax Credit is expected to be taken up today. We expect the vote to happen between 12 Noon and 12:30 Eastern Time. Once the bill passes the final provisions will be up on REALTOR.ORG
Georgia Association of REALTORS® The United States Senate, by a vote of 98-0, passed the Unemployment Insurance Bill, which contains the tax credit extension and expansion. The bill now moves to the House. We expect Democratic leadership to place the bill on a fast track for passage on Thursday. It could get to the President on Friday.
