I agree that change comes much too slowly, but at least it's in the wind now. . . Remember that he included us in his acceptance speech. . . Obama's on the right track. We shouldn't be complacent, but we must also acknowledge that there are multiple , I many MANY pressing issues for him to address. I've seen parts of Borat and got disappointed. Sometimes Cohen went too far, e.g. when he attacked Pamela Anderson. If the militant social classes of Pakistan were satirized in the same, outlandish way in a film, I think sadly, there would be many Pakistani's who would lack a sense of humour as well about it. I think that a lot of gay people seem content with perpetrating the gay stereotype all by themselves. I've seen gay men who aren't involved in a scene go from 'normal' to over the top camp purely because they felt that they had to 'act' gay.
