Can I get some advice on how to get started? I'm due 12-31 with my first baby and really want to use gdiapers. All that I've purchased is the starter pack and some indian cloth prefolds from cotton babies. I'm interested in gcloth, but wanted to wait to invest in that (b/c it's pricey) when my child is in the medium.../large since they are in that size so long compared to the small size. Isn't it true that they are only in a small for a few months usually? I was hoping to just use prefolds and liners until then, and then really get into investing in the cloth gdiaper inserts.
Any advice/experience would be greatly appreciated!
Also, what is a good number of pants/liners to buy in small?
Thanks so much!Read More

Rebecca McKenzie Just got my first starter pack on Friday along with some gCloths and love them. I had him in the gdiapers all weekend but needed to wait for the pants to dry and had to put him in a disposable. He had a giant blowout all over my pants. Going to put in an order for more on Monday!!

Love my gdiapers! My liners are starting to stink... my kids are exclusively gdiaper cloth. I wash every day. At each change, I pull the cloth and throw it in a dry pail. If the pants and liner are soaked or dirty or it is just time to start fresh, I unsnap the liner and throw it in the dry pail. I put the gpants in in...dividual mesh bags and into the dry pail. The diapers never sit for more than 12 hours. I dump everything in the wash, add tea tree oil and rinse. Then, detergent and wash. Dry everything except the liners in the dryer. What can I do to freshen up the liners? Everything else smells great. Thanks!Read More

Anne Bruehler gDiapers are the best! I forgot to order refills, so I had my daughter in a sposie tonight, and of course she had a poopie blow-out. We have never had a blow-out with the gDiaper. Just one more reason I love my g's. :-)

Linda Etheridge i am looking into cloth diapering and stumbled upon gdiapers as i was searching online. thinking about investing in them. i love the environmental points but also because my husband was laid off and disposables are continuous and endless expense. how can i get coupons that could help with initial investment?
