The African & African Diaspora Collaborative (AADC) is excited to announce a cocktail and jazz reception to kickoff Black History Month. We hope that you will all join us for an afternoon of fun, history, and remembrance. We will unveil "Beauty, Diversity & Strength," a photo exhibit showcasing the many facets of Afric...an-American Culture that will be displayed in Taubman all of February.
All of my proceeds from the show will benefit the Roxbury Preparatory School. The Roxbury Preparatory School is a public school that serves an all Black and Latino student population in the 6th, 7th and 8th grades. The school's mission is to prepare students to enter, succeed in, and graduate from college. The school offers admitted students rigorous math, reading, science, and social studies programs and helps each student gain entry into a preparatory high school. AADC was introduced to the Roxbury Preparatory School by one of AADC's current members, a Masters in Public Policy Candidate that previously taught 7th grade English at the school.
