      Iceland has a good luck that they have such conditions within 3km. Volcanoes are great for geothermal energy, but dangerous in their essence. Eruptions, seismicity and clouds of ashes are inevitable penalty for this cheap energy.
      Great thing... for a new deep drilling technology is to enable such exceptional conditions for standard places without tectonic risks. Cost efficient drilling to more than 5km is a precondition for geothermal boom worldwide.See More

      Michael, everything has its timings. If you can send us for example 5M Euro cash or become our investor for some reasonable equity, we will be much faster :) As you know, in these months is hard to get "easy money", especially for research ...and development of new technology. We devoted our energy to collect significant resources to be able to do that. One of the most important projects we won is this one above, that enables us to upgrade our own laboratory with most important infrastructure we need.
      And one of the first results in several weeks from now will be the technology demonstrator. You will be informed also via Geothermania about everything important. Except sending necessary money just cross fingers :)      See More

        • Geothermania Lanre, it is great that you enjoy our activities. Although now are holidays and frequency is lower, we prepare a lot of new things. Regret, concrete event in UK we are not preparing. We are based in Central Europe for now, but in future we plan to expand. From time to time we are also in UK, so we can meet there or in some international event. Now the place for our discussions and feedbacks is mostly here. Good luck. Igor

But briefly, during summer months we will arrange several bilateral and multilateral meetings of researchers, industry, project developers and government representatives about support and cooperation within the technology platform. Then the plan is in September/October officially kick-off the National Technology Platform. We will inform continuously about all activities. Thank you for the support.
