Often people say why do you use a controller, when you can use CDJs in any club and just play from those. If I had a penny for every time I've found perfectly working CDJs and Mixer I would be completely broke. Just as those things they call equipment.

I always bring CDs as backups or to mix in a track so the previous DJ can get his stuff easily with me being in the middle pushing him an plugging all the cables. Specially when I used to use 2 channels on a mixer and soundcard, laptop and ...a controller. it took ages to plug everything. but i still waited for the dj before me to finish his set without interrupting him.
now with controllers like the S4 is almost plug and play :DSee More

i noticed that in important gigs u dotn really have time to click the sync the fastest way to beat match is the pitch! sounds weird but it is if you know your music!!!!!!.....looping sampling, etc can be useful just sometimes! maybe just 3%... of your set although I'm not agree that djs sample all the time when the music made in a proper studio with a proper structure and essence might be destroyed by a dj sampling all the time!See More
