Give Back Cincinnati

Come join fellow Give Back Cincinnati volunteers as we head to Keeneland for the October 17, 2009 races. We’ll meet, register and mingle with fellow volunteers around 9:00 on Saturday, departing for Keeneland around 9:30. This time is subject to change pending race start time.
We will socialize and tailgate at the track... from approximately 11:00 – 1:00 before heading into the races. The buses will leave approximately 20 minutes after the last race, with an arrival time in Cincinnati anticipated around 8:30 PM.
Your $45 ticket price will include the following:

- Entry into Keeneland (general seating)
- Transportation (including tip) to/from Keeneland
- Breakfast
- Lunch catered by Chef’s Choice
- Food at the after-party upon return to Cincinnati
- Water & pop for bus ride/tailgate
- Christian Moerlein and domestic (Miller Light, Bud Light) beer for the bus ride and tailgate
- Give Back at the Track souvenir
- Cornhole at the tailgate

As we are representing Give Back Cincinnati, we are requesting that all attendees wear dressy-casual attire that is in line with Keeneland standards.

Ticket purchases are non-refundable; the trip to Lexington will be on – rain or shine! As this is a social event, there will be beer available for all attendees (21+). Please consider whether you are comfortable in close quarters, such as buses, around individuals consuming alcohol.

More specific details, including registration location and confirmed time will be sent in the event details (3-4 days before the event).

Give Back Cincinnati's final community immersion project of the year will take place in Price Hill, one of Cincinnati's most historic neighborhoods and this year's beneficiary of Give Back Cincinnati's Paint the Town event. In fact, 42 houses were painted in Price Hill this year.

Registration is at Block Coffee House f...rom 9 – 9:30 a.m. Tour guides from Price Hill Will, a nonprofit dedicated to revitalizing the neighborhood, will provide us with an educational walking tour of the community's nonprofits, businesses, new developments, arts organizations, and several Paint the Town houses. The tour will conclude at the Warsaw Project Gallery, a couple blocks from Holy Family Church.

A light breakfast, coffee, lunch and after-party drinks and food will be provided. We will do a lot of walking, so please wear comfortable walking shoes. Parking is at Holy Family Church; the entrance for parking is on Grand Avenue between Price Avenue and West 8th Street.
