Louise McOrmond Plummer My 9 year old daughter, who struggles with literacy won a special award plus a small book voucher last night for her efforts in supported reading classes. Her bright and popular 11 year old brother had been nominated for prefect but ultimately did not make it and was bitterly disappointed and crying. In his upset, he ...was finding it hard to be very gracious to his sister, but she didn't even notice. She just said "Don't worry Finn, I'll buy you something out of my voucher." My warm-hearted, ungrudging little girl - whose name is Suzy - GMH.

best friend was out shopping for Christmas presents when he saw an old
gay couple. Just then, some 14 year old kid called them fags. My best
friend heard this and turned and said, "They're not fags, they're in
love which is more than you'll ever be able to say." In response to my
best friends kindness, they helped him pa...y for the presents he was buying. People like that GMH.
This is a true story. It happened to my best friend this afternoon.

She does this for all 800 of us and doesn’t even want credit. Her generosity and ambition to make everyone feel special GMH

Jaye Holly I just heard a story about a woman who was trying to call her daughter to tell her that she would use her mortgage money to buy the daughter and her children groceries, but she dialed a wrong number. The real estate agent, a complete stranger, who received the erroneous voicemail message called her back and told her to... go ahead and pay the mortgage because she would take care of the groceries. She bought Thanksgiving dinner for the family, and enough groceries to last until the end of the month. GMH!

GivesMeHope (GMH) Today I was going out for a coffee with my boyfriend. On the way I passed a homeless man and gave him $5. When I got to Starbucks my boyfriend dumped me. I walked home crying, and when I passed the homeless man he told me how sorry he was, and offered to buy me a coffee. He used the $5 I gave him, and smiled proudly as he handed over the money. GMH
