You could take a look at the "How to build a resume" webpage from the Australian Government's JobAccess intiative - http://bit.ly/OMudP

It offers several sample resumes and, since it is maintained by the Australian Government, it seems likely that their CV standards would be similar to what is published on the site.

Trudy-Ann Ewan Is there anyone who could offer me some information on doing Cultural Research work in Australia. What are the requirements regarding obtaining work permits and other Immigration issues. Is it easier to obtain Permanent Residency in Australia than in the EU? Thanks for your help.

The Australian Government provides a variety of information about their immigration policies at http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/ - this particular page is for people seeking to work in skilled/professional positions. There is also some information about permanent residency elsewhere in the site.

For cultural research work you might check out the following websites:
Centre for Cultural Research at Univ. of Western Sydney (http://www.uws.edu.au/centre_for_cultural_research/ccr)
Centre for Cross Cultural Research at the Australian National University (http://www.anu.edu.au/culture/)... Read More
Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (http://www.aiatsis.gov.au/)

In reviewing the websites, you could identify people working in those organizations and they might be accessible through Facebook or another social networking tool (Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).

Good luck!

@Olga - I wanted to teach English, but I don't think I can survive on the salary. :) I am a Motivational Speaker/Life Coach and I was also interested in doing Cultural Research in Europe. Working as a Diplomat would be something I would be interested in or working in a Cross-Cultural setting.
