is very happy to announce GoodAmsterdam launch party at the Pakhuis de Zwijger on 30/9.
There’ll be three main events: the unveiling of the 15 GoodAmsterdam final posters; the world premiere of the Good50×70 global catalogue by BIS; and a live design battle to produce a poster for Leger Des Heils (The Salvation Army) on... the night.
Floor Wesseling, Lava, Mannschaft, Punchdouble and Van de Jong will all have an hour to create a design, one of which will be printed by Bizon Print and hung throughout Amsterdam by Bizon Buitenreclame.
And there’ll be music. And drinks.
See you there! You can download your invitation via the link below, but don’t worry, you don’t need to bring it. Everyone’s welcome.

Good 50x70
CREATIVE BRIEF
When people talk, governments have to listen.
Background:
In the West, we have the luxury of saying what we want 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. But it only takes 24 seconds to say something to help bring a positive change in countries where freedom of expression is still a dream.
It really doesn’t take muc...h to register your unhappiness with a situation – a click of your mouse to turn your avatar green, a little time to sign up a petition or fill out an email to send to a newspaper, a few euros or dollars to send money to where it’s needed. Small acts that when joined together become a movement for change that can’t be ignored.
Because when a country or regime is being watched, it has to behave, or risk further censure from the international community. When people talk, governments have to listen. Except that in some countries people aren’t allowed to talk. So we’ve got to talk for them.
In the United States of America we’ve seen recently what the power of collective action can achieve. Now we must harness the same power to speak for those people who can’t call for change in their own countries.
Message:
The pen is mightier than the sword.
Get people to make full use of their freedom
of expression to change intolerant regimes.Read More

thinks you might like to know that the new catalogue is out.
It's a poster, tshirt and donation all in one special tube. This special edition of the catalogue is a 'memento' of the exhibition rather the book we've had in previous years.
You can buy the catalogue here now:

This special edition of the catalogue is a 'memento' of the exhibition rather the book we've had in previous years. Technically, it's 3 70x100cm 150g sheets of paper, folded like a tabloid newspaper that comes in a 70cm long black poster tube. ...
