With $1.27 million in ARRA grant dollars from the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Transportation Funds, construction is underway on the SW 98th Street Pedestrian Walkway, which will open around Thanksgiving. This project bridges a steep hillside and wetland area; giving residents from the recently completed Hop...e VI Greenbridge Community – a HUD funded public and private 1,000-plus unit housing project – the ability to walk, ride or roll to bus stops and businesses in the White Center neighborhood of King County.
