I almost got wiped out while walking home from work the other day by a cyclist who was on the sidewalk, going the wrong way on a 1-way street, & not wearing a helmet. Oh and it was already dark-ish; no light. Wanted to choke her. But seriously, stand on any corner & count the bikes & cars going by doing stupid &/or illegal things. It's a close race, & nobody wins.

Philadelphia's Office of Sustainability is hopeful that the Pennsylvania State Senate will pass legislation soon to help the City of Philadelphia plug a $700 million hole in its budget. If it does not act, then the Mayor's Office of Sustainability will cease to exist on October 2.
