These are all elements of a social phenomenon – the groundswell – that has created a permanent, long-listing shift in the way the world works. Most companies see it as a threat.

You can see it as an opportunity.

Great presentation at the MIT Enterprise Forum 5/14/08! Very clear. You asked us to spread the word, so I did. Was just going to include the book in my Favorite Book section of my blog side column, but out came an entire review:

A pleasure!

Hi All,
Sorry I havn't been able to have access to the book in full. So apologies if I make ignorant comments on mistakes. I'm trying to do a Research Assignment on something similar, am wondering if there is anything in the Groundswell theory, that relates to motivating a sales force through social networks (of a social media type). I.e Facebook.
What do you guys think?

Spent Bank Holiday weekend reading this fantastic book. All people in PR agencies should read, take note and start listening.... otherwise we're all going to be out of a job.... or at least get very hoarse shouting into a void. Can't wait to listen to Friday's conference all.

Just watched Charlene present this morning. Loved it! You presented a chart detailiing where people fall in the Social Technographics ladder by age group, but the tool on your web site provides different values. At least for the 18-24 Gen Y's. What gives?
