Its about time there was a group just for the queer women of Sydney. All types of queer, including sydney lesbians, bi, trans, androgynous, gender-bending, pansexual as well as women who are simply gay friendly.

Information, resources and an online comunity for lesbians in Sydney: The Sapphic Sydney Website was created with the aim of strengthening Sydney's lesbian & queer female community by connecting women & providing easily accessible information on lesbian events, activities and community news in Sydney.

We aim to be a friendly and inclusive service which embraces all types of queer including lesbian, bisexual, transgender or any other type of not-so-straight (including women who are curious or simply queer friendly).

Our Sydney lesbian events listings make it easy to find out what is on and when in just a few clicks and includes not only lesbian nightlife & scene events but also other interesting events and activities including art, theatre, sports, concerts, festivals, camping trips, and anything else relevant to Sydney's lesbian & queer female community.

Our online community offers a friendly introduction to the Sydney lesbian/queer community for women who have recently come out, who are new to Sydney, or who are simply looking to meet new people. Membership is 100% free and includes access to member profiles, forums and (coming soon) galleries.

If anyone is having trouble with a member of this group, please report them to us. I have noticed we have some male members of this group, which is no problem as long as they are not here to pick up girls. If you feel like you are being hassled by a member please send their name and the reason they are giving you trouble and we will block them from the group.
