| Description: | GET INVOLVED http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zombie A zombie walk (also known as a zombie mob, zombie march, zombie horde or zombie lurch) is an organized public gathering of people who dress up in zombie costumes. Taking place in an urban center (Birmingham), the participants make their way together around the city streets and through shopping malls in a somewhat orderly fashion limping their way towards a bar for an undead party! We're going to do it on Saturday 15th March along a pre-planned route through the city center so everyone knows where they're heading. Its gonna be at dusk so we're gonna meet up at 4pm, go till about 6pm then head for a zombie party at a venue TBA. So its a bit like Mobile Clubbing but with more blood and guts, loads of random people meeting up scaring the shit out of the public for a couple of hours then having a party at the end of it all. The success of this event really does depend on YOU GUYS helping to organise it by inviting all your friends that live in the Midlands!! So if you've just joined do it now by clicking the link on the right of the screen. We really need to make sure we've got loads of people in the group to help to publicize it more!!! -----SPREAD THE WORD TO THE UNDEAD------ Any feedback welcome cheers!! |

Because of their catatonic state, zombies have been unable to offer any personal testimony to augment scientific research. Therefore, all we know about zombies is based upon empirical evidence. A person infected with the zombie virus is transformed into a single-minded hunting machine, with all changes to bodily functions serving the zombie imperative: locate prey, capture prey and feed. Overall, the changes that take place in zombies are more limited than in vampires, and primarily affect the nervous system and the muscular/skeletal system.
Warnings: - Don't touch anyone! People will usually take this in the wrong way and scream for help. - Avoid little kids if possible. They don't know it's fake and you'll get their parents mad. - If the police stop you, or you are generally confronted by anyone whohas a problem, be friendly and understanding, and let them win anyarguments. You're the one breaking social convention here. -Do not do anything illegal. Dressing up in a costume is not an excuseto break windows, loot shops, or flip cars. -Be careful pouring fake blood INTO your ear, don't let it get in your inner ear canal, as it may cause infection. Better to just smear it around or use a cotton swab to give the dribble-effect. -Fake blood can be VERY sticky, so be careful if you have to get in a car or another place you don't want to make a mess of.
Please spread the word.
