Dear MWSE Group Member:

In November, the Westside Subway Extension concluded its “Station Information Meetings” which enjoyed phenomenal attendance. Nearly 500 of you showed up – many first-tmers – to learn about locating stations and give us your input. We are now busy reviewing, compiling and summarizing that input and incorporating it into our continuing work on the Draft EIS/EIR for the subway.

We’ve posted the presentations from those meetings on line, as well as 2 versions of video we produced about subway.

Our next set of community meetings will be in early 2010 when we’ll report back on what we heard at the Station Information Meetings as well as our continuing analysis of the subway.

Subway in the news: Be sure to check out all the recent headlines on Westside Subway Extension. We’ll keep posting stories as we find them but you should feel free to post them too.

Please keep inviting your friends, family and co-workers to join our group. Your enthusiasm has helped build interest in the Metro Westside Subway Facebook page so we're now one of the biggest transportation groups on Facebook.
