The University Police Departments work in cooperation with the academic community in the promotion of practical and responsible community policing.

We are part of the educational process. As a service-oriented department, we provide educational, informational, and awareness program on topics such as prevention, drug awareness, sexual assault and traffic safety. We develop and maintain a positive relationship with students, faculty and staff in order to ensure the safety and cooperation of the entire campus community while enforcing the laws of New York State on our campuses.
