Mandarin Mondays is a weekly and monthly event for all ages, backgrounds and levels of proficiency to celebrate Chinese language and culture and bridging cultural gaps between Chinese and Americans at our brand new venue Heavenly Bamboo Pavilion AKA Asia Culture Inc.

We have the whole place to ourselves! Capacity is about 150, which means that we will fill every square centimeter of this venue!
This party was just waiting to happen..and by popular demand (see reasons below):
1) Many Chinese native speakers want to make American friends
2) Many American friends learning Mandarin want opportunities to practice Mandarin Chinese in a relaxed setting
3) There has never been a large scale bridge-building weekly party celebrating Chinese language and culture
We have unlimited potential to grow the party and make a mark on nightlife history as one of the best after-work cultural parties. Our group is definitely the foundation of the party, with such a diverse mix of native speakers, American born-Chinese, and people learning Mandarin Chinese.
We will brand this party so that it will grow and attract people locally and from all over the world, tourists and visitors who are here in-town on Mondays. I will be doing outreach to Chinese organizations, groups and communities, as well as to language schools, your help in spreading the word (if you're excited about the party =)) will be appreciated!

Heavenly Bamboo Pavilion 10 E 39th St (btwn 5th and Madison)
Time:
5:30-9:30PM or later!
Directions:
Take B,D,F,7 to 42nd St, walk south to 39th st. and then east for one avenue (between 5th and Madison Ave.) Heavenly Bamboo Pavilion has a bright Green sign...you can't miss it!
Admission:
FREE ($2 suggested donation and optional $10 buffet at monthly Mandarin Mondays and shared dinner at weekly events)
OPTIONAL $10 gets us the most genuine Chinese buffet in NYC! Eclectic assortment of dishes, appetizers and snacks selected by Heavenly Bamboo Pavilion representing Chinese cuisine from Shanghai, Szechuan, Guandong, US (Americanized Chinese food =)) and more!
