This group is dedicated to the memory of Eric De La Cruz. His life on this earth was cut too short yet he left behind a living legacy. Through the help of his beloved and most courageous sister Veronica, he has brought together a legion of newly formed friends from all over the world whom he has inspired to join together to advocate for health care reform. His story drew international attention to most important issues such as organ donation and transplantation. The non profit foundation "The LifeGiver Project" which was set up to fund Eric's treatment will now help other heart transplant patients in need of financial assistance.
As Veronica De La Cruz affirmed " just because we've lost the battle...doesn't mean we can't still win the war."
