The recent news is that I created this group!

I started it because I believe the drive-through espresso business is unique and has a special niche in the coffee industry. The businesses are by-and-large independently owned and operated, and because of that and the cultural tradition surrounding coffee and espresso in general, I felt it represented a community.

It seems Facebook is a legitimate format for that community to casually get together in a fun and informative way.
