SATURDAY 25th SEPT from 1.00pm to 1.45pm, in the "Tribe of Doris" tent at Millennium Square, by the Bristol Harbouside.
A workshop in Afro-Peruvian Drumming and Percussion, run by Sandro Granda - http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=605685723
Sandro will have a few spare Djembes and Cahon drums, but not many, so if you have a light 'Party-Djembe' or similar percussion, it might be useful to bring it along.
It's part of the "BrisFest" Festival, but the part in Millennium Square is not chargeable to get into.

Simon Carver is running a new class at the Pierian Centre, 27 Portland Square, Bristol BS2 8SA, in September: “Drumming for fun and relaxation”. Wed 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th September, 7:15pm – 8:45pm, £40 for 4 weeks. - Learn basic sounds and techniques for African style hand drums and percussion. Improvise together to create our own music. Learn about using the drum as a tool for meditation and relaxation.
