Hi Folks Welcome to TWITTER Italy, the first facebook group which gathers Italian social networkers and their international peers.
I’m looking for smart talented officers and therefore here I am to launch an appeal to the Twitter experts living in Italy! Please 1) send me your application to be a TWITTER ITALY officer 2) feel free to create and put video/posts and other material regarding TWITTER and Social networking on the Discussion Board and relevant sections of this group!

I’ve started this group to:
-provide more information in Italian about Twitter.
-spread the word and promote the culture of social networking in Italy.
-Allow Italian social networkers to interact with each other and with foreign networkers who have some special interests to pursue here in Italy. This will provide the chance to exchange experiences, opportunities, projects and VALUE.

This means that any member of this group is free to post information about:
-Special projects and start-ups requiring cross cultural experience and specific know-how
-Services and job/internship opportunities
-Events, seminars and workshops, especially (but not only) those involving prominent International speakers in visit to our country
-Interesting news and opinions about Media, Politics, Economics, Investments, and so far so on……

What is Twitter?
Twitter allows you to update your friends about your real and virtual activities just by posting short messages (no more than 140 letters, links included). If you have a blog, a website, a thread…or just a feeling/opinion to share with your network, you will post a message+ link on your twitter and in real time all your friends will get updated.

Joining Twitter, you will find leaders and followers.
If it is true that everyone has his/her own specialty ;-D…. you may find good reasons why to be both leader and follower of the same person.

2)Customize your profile
3)To enable a successful interaction between your Twitter and Facebook accounts, add on Facebook the Friendfeed Application. This way all your Twitter microposts will pop up on your Facebook minifeed, thus allowing – with no need to import/export your contacts - your Facebook friends to get updated on your overall networking activities.

Salve gente Benevenuti in TWITTER ITALY, l’unico gruppo Facebook che presto riunirà l’elite del social networking Italiano e internazionale

Twitter è approdato anche in Italia e un numero sempre crescente di miei amici ne fa gran uso per tenersi costantemente in contatto con il proprio network.

Ora sono alla ricerca di talentuosi officers! Lancio quindi un appello a tutti gli esperti di Twitter che vivono in Italia: 1) inviami la tua candidatura alla posizione di TWITTER ITALY officer 2) crea e inserisci video/posts e altro materiale inerente agli obiettivi di questo gruppo (see below) sul Discussion Board e sulle sezioni dedicate di questo gruppo.

Ho lanciato questo gruppo per:
-Fornire maggiori info su Twitter in Italiano.
-Diffondere e promuovere in Italia la cultura del social networking
-Consentire ai social networkers Italiani di interagire tra di loro e con altri utenti all’estero che hanno degli interessi in Italia, in maniera tale da favorire lo scambio di esperienze, opportunità, progetti e VALORE.

Ciò significa che ciascun membro del gruppo è libero di postare informazioni su:
-progetti speciali e start-up che richiedono l’interazione e il know-how di diverse culture
-servizi e opportunità di lavoro/stage
-Eventi, seminari e workshop, soprattutto (ma non solo) quelli che coinvolgono illustri speaker internazionali in visita al nostro Paese
-News e opinioni che possano stimolare dibattiti interessanti sul mondo dei media, della politica, dell’economia, etc…

Twitter ti consente di updatare i tuoi amici sulle tue attività reali e virtuali con dei micropost (non più di 140 caratteri, link incluso). Se hai un blog, un sito, un thread da condividere, inserirai su twitter titolo e link e tutti i tuoi amici visualizzeranno in tempo reale le tue news.

Su twitter troverai amici che ti seguono e altri che dovrai a tua volta seguire.
Se è vero che tutti hanno qualcosa che sanno fare meglio degli altri...;-D...è possibile che tu possa essere contemporaneamente leader e follower di una stessa persona ;-D

1) Registrati su twitter - http://twitter.com
2) Clicca su Get Started-Join!
3) Personalizza il tuo profilo twitter
4) per assicurare una completa interazione di Twitter con il tuo account facebook aggiungi su facebook anche l'applicazione friendfeed

In tal modo tutti i micropost che inserirai su Twitter saranno visibili nel minifeed di Facebook e quindi anche al tuo network facebook, senza alcun bisogno di importare/esportare i tuoi contatti.
