Recently the entire 1911 census in Ireland has been opened up for search at http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/
If you can find your ancestors from 1911, why not tell a story about them, and link their names to their entry?
Please post a topic in the discussions. Let the title of the topic be the address, as listed in the census entry.
In the body of the post, put a link to the census entry, so everyone can take a look at the record. Then tell us in a few lines who those people were.
That's it!
Please join! It's simply to share stories with others who like history and genealogy. And to make the names on the census returns come to life.
If you find census returns of public figures, then post them in the discussion boards with a link to the census return and their wikipedia page or some such.
Photos of the people concerned, around that time, would also be great to see. The photo for this group is of my great grandparents, Denis and Julia Moore, of Smithfield North, Dublin, who married in 1908/09. This is their record: http://url.ie/2awd
