It saddens me to report that, at the request of one of our members, I have felt compelled to remove a number of wall comments and discussion posts (including one topic) relating to Nottingham Contemporary. I've done so reluctantly and wholly out of respect for the member who feels it inappropriate to continue to comment at this time.
I also feel it only correct to apologise to those who have been diligently reading this wall or any of the discussion topics who might notice these deletions and any resulting inconsistencies with the altered flow of the discussions - there will be certain responses that will no longer entirely make sense.
Tues 20th Oct'09 - Facebook Groups have undergone some changes this week which is why things look a little different (basically they look like any other FB profile pages). In many ways we now have quite a bit more functionality. Members can now post photos and videos to the Wall.
Don't forget the Info (for news) & Discussions pages though.
Hope this hasn't phased people.
Mon 19th Oct'09 - Just found this Arts Council entry re NC funding for te next couple of years at least http://www.artscouncil.org.uk/rfo/nottingham-contemporary/
Thurs 1st Oct'09 - NCC planning docs for NC are back again - guess they were having server issues.
Sun 27th Sept'09 - the NCC planning documents for NC have mysteriously become unavailable via the link I posted. It's a good thing I don't buy into conspiracies too easily, or I'd start to think someone at the council doesn't want us to see these (public) documents for some reason.
Fri 25thSept'09 - I emailed my list of questions to NC. I'm not holding my breath, but I do hope I get some kind of response.
Wed 23rd Sept - I also added a link to the NCC planning documents for NC.
Wed 23rd Sept - Updated the NC collated web info document (see 'Links')
Mon 21st Sept'09 - NC website back online. Apparently there were technical difficulties with a change of server. Good to see it back though.
Sun 20th Sept '09 - I've activated the group's Wall so people can make brief comments, but I encourage members to comment in the discussion topics or start new ones so we can try and establish some structured debate.
Sun 20th Sept'09 - My posts to the Official NC Facebook Fan page made yesterday informing members there of this group's existence have been deleted by the admins!
Well, this doesn't really surprise me, but it's still disappointing that they're obviously not interested in promoting any real debate. Now I'm annoyed.
