Something always comes between music and its fans. It's catchier hits by prettier people. It's ticket surcharges, distribution channels, big ugly logos, bigger uglier businesses, digital rights management, false idols, lofty venue rents... the insidious commodification of creativity. Music is forever becoming classified, packaged, marketed, merchandised, and exploited beyond recognition for the sake of profit - it's not a new story. WHITE DENIM ALBUM COMING NEXT WEEK.

Dear fellow facebooker and fan of progressive music.

By now, you must know of the force that is White Denim.

They have played Glastonbury, Monolith, Fun Fun Fun, Austin City Limits, The Troubador, The Showbox, The Mercury, The Mohawk...all without releasing an album.

They have been featured in Rolling Stone, Spin, Blender, NME, Pitchfork, Gorilla vs Bear, Daytrotter, Brooklyn Vegan, Aquarium Drunkard, MYKB, and countless others...all without releasing an album.

And now, after much anticipation, they are about to release their first U.S. full length album, "Exposion."

Like David Byrne and Brian Eno, White Denim has chosen to release their record in a different way, via a new online platform.

To hear the record and learn more, you will need to join the band's email list here:

http://www.whitedenimmusic.com/

It's easy. Submit your email, and White Denim will inundate you with a wave of glorious content very soon.

Thanks,

Well, good. Here's your chance to be heard.
