News:
We filed our Climate Action Plan (CAP) on time, Sep 15th. We should reach climate neutrality by 2040. By then I can rattle my teeth and bedpan in celebration. Things to look forward to around SU is the forming of the communication committee for spreading the word about the CAP across campus. Hopefully some of that education and awareness leaks across our borders. Things we are currently working on are: outdoor recycling, increasing overall recycling, the 350 Climate Action Day Oct 24th, a compost proposal is before our Steering Committee seeking approval and working with students and NYPIRG on water conservation and getting people to use a different finger and turn off campus lights. As Always, thanks for visiting.
