Ronald Gambardella, 53, has announced his plans to run for Mayor in November 2009. Gambardella, a veteran of the United States Navy, is an accountant with an MBA and owns a Hamden-based tax preparation and financial services company.
Gambardella said, "I will focus on four major areas:
1. Restoring honesty and integrity to town government.
2. Providing property tax relief for Hamden taxpayers.
3. Developing a comprehensive plan to improve Hamden's roads and sidewalks.
4. Proposing initiatives to improve the quality of Hamden Public Schools."
