The Swing and Ballroom Dance Club at UCSB ("SBDC") is an organization dedicated to encouraging social dancing, the social etiquette and fun that accompany it, and providing basic dance instruction to its members. Each meeting consists of a basic dance lesson, followed by free open-dancing afterward.
Anyone can join SBDC. No partner, no experience necessary. SBDC offers something for dancers of all abilities, from the beginning or novice dancer, to the more experienced or advanced dancer.
$20 a quarter, but your first meeting is free. Renewing members now have reduced membership rates: Students: $10; non-Students: $15 per school quarter.
Come check us out on Monday nights, from 8:30 to 10:30 pm, in UCSB's Robertson Gym room 2320 (upstairs, to the right, follow the music!).
For more information about our club, check out our regularly updated website.
