Welcome to the official Facebook Group of the Russian Student Association at the University of Michigan. Whether you are a currently active member, an RSA alum looking to reconnect, or just interested in learning more about the organization, this is the group to join to get updates about upcoming RSA events and developments.

We are primarily a social organization with a cultural flavor. Membership is open to anyone who wants to join. Because many members are of Russian and Eastern European descent, we strive to attend concerts, enjoy Russian cinema, and hold other events to foster awareness of Slavic culture and heritage. At the same time, we try to make the club be a release from school and stress and enjoy outdoor outings as well as themed parties at times. Club meetings are held bi-weekly at local tea shops and other food establishments.

If you share our enthusiasm about the upcoming year, please leave comments, discuss events, or email the officers directly with regard to how we can improve our club over the past years. We want more members, more events, and just more of everything that's good and wanted!

Membership in RSA is NOT limited to UM students only. Nor do we accept Russian-speakers alone. Our members are people of all ages and backgrounds, people who are simply interested in Russian culture and want to hang out with a really fun group of friends! The majority, however, are indeed Russian-speaking college students residing in Southeast Michigan.

Current members are connected to RSA alumni who have gone on to graduate school or have begun successful professional careers in the areas of Business, Medicine, International Relations, and others, so whether you are looking for a Russian tutor, credible career advice, or just a fun group of friends to hang out with, stop by the RSA table at Festifall, check out our website, and join this group to find out what we are all about!
