Welcome to the Singapore PHP User Group. The current group was established in 2006.

PHP (recursive acronym for "PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor") is a widely-used Open Source general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for Web development and can be embedded into HTML.

We have registered as a not-for-profit society - the Philosophy in Programming Society (Ph.P Society).

The Ph.P Society was formed to champion the open source development community. To further the interest of the software programming community and to raise the standards and proficiency of the software programming members. The society aims to do this through training and a customised developer-centric curriculum to raise the skill level of the community. In doing so, we aim to raise the perceived and real value of the software programming community.
