News:
July 2009: PLEASE NOTE....A Spell for Refreshment is currently on hiatus. You can still read the archived posts and enjoy some spiritually refreshing links there. However, I am currently busy with HALIWERFOLC, my blog about Saint Cuthbert, in conjunction with my two upcoming books about England's greatest saint. If you think that might interest you, please visit http://stcuthbert.blogspot.com

I hope to return to making new posts on A Spell for Refreshment next year after the books are published. Thank you all for your support!

A bit of sad news...Pauline Baynes, original illustrator of the Chronicles of Narnia and of Tolkien's Farmer Giles of Ham and other stories, is reported to have died today. Not much info yet, I will post some links.
