I have recently spoken to Linda the landlady at the Arches. The brewery's plans are to knock down the bar area with the pool table, the skittle alley and the betting shop. This will leave us youngsters (and not so young ones) with no place to hang out and have a laugh. We'll be expected to mingle at the other end where the food is served etc. The petition is still behid the bars in the Arches. Try and sign it if you can.
