Founded in 1987, Pacific New Media at the Outreach College of the University of Hawaii has become the states premier institution of learning for all forms of digital media, as well as Hawaii’s only Apple certified training center. Covering the fields of web design, digital imaging, video, film and photography, Pacific New Media provides invaluable instruction, and access to teachers with real-world experience. PNM also gives students access to equipment and software, and the convenience of taking courses and completing certificate programs as needed, not on a strict schedule. PNM presents a comprehensive program of seminars, talks and short intensive workshops, featuring prominent local and mainland professionals who share their expertise and insight, inspiring new ways of thinking as they guide you in upgrading your skills.

PNM offers two certificate programs: the Web Design Certificate Program and the Digital Imaging Certificate Program, as well as Apple certificate testing and education.
