TIMELINE/IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES:
10/21:
5:00AM-- FBI agents appear at the Mehanna household in Sudbury with an arrest warrant for Tarek Mehanna. This is the second time in approximately a year he is arrested by the FBI.
1:30PM-- Arraignment hearing at the Moakley Federal Courthouse. First pre-trial hearing set for October 30th.
10/23:
6:00-- First phone call from Tariq!!!!!! He is doing well, his voice is very strong and he does not sound in the least weak or deterred. :) :) :)
10/27:
Court date delayed from Oct 30th to Nov 12th.
11/12:
Tariq's hearing. 150+ people showed up, many with signs, banners, and t-shirts. The media was not expecting to see such a strong showing of support. Our support only continued to grow from here on! No decision was made regarding Tariq's bail; the judge said he would issue his verdict in one to two weeks. Again, this hearing was just to see if Tariq would be let out on bail.
11/17:
First letter received from Tariq!!!! Also, Tariq FINALLY receives the first batch of letters sent out, and he says that it was the single happiest moment he had since entering prison :) :) :) Tariq's letter is posted in the discussion board.
11/18:
Word received that Tariq's bail plea was denied. Think that's gonna stop us? Think again.
