Don't add the SECRET CRUSH application
Information
Category:
Internet & Technology - News
Description:
The Secret Crush Facebook application (also known as "My Admirer") claims that you have a mystery admirer. It even tells you to invite 5 other people to add the application before it will reveal who has a secret crush on you.

IT security companies, however, have reported that no secret admirers are ever revealed - and the application is an attempt to install a potentially unwanted program onto your PC which will display nuisance advertising.

Just say no!

The people behind the application seem to have renamed it "My Admirer". It still has the big red heart graphic (though that could obviously change). So be careful about invitations from that application too! Meanwhile, Facebook appears to be removing the Secret Admirer application from people's profile pages..

Some media reports are saying that the Secret Crush application is no longer accessible from Facebook. However, although it seems to have been zapped from the search listings, it *can* still be accessed and you can still add it to your profile. (For obvious reasons we're not going to advertise how you would do this, as we don't want people to install adware).
