People laughed at Brushes when we said that were entering the Northwest In Bloom competition. The 1st year we entered we received a Improvement Certificate, 2nd year we received a Merit Certificate.

After a lot of hard work we looked at our In Bloom route and decided we have to do something really special to get an Outstanding Certificate. This year the hard work paid off we received the Outstanding Certificate that we always wanted. We also went one better and won the BEST LARGE NEIGHBOURHOOD Award. Out of 300 neighbourhoods Brushes came out on top (read less)
