For those of you in Asia, PING PONG PLAYA makes its premiere in Bali at the Bali International Film Festival on Thurs, Oct 23 and in Taiwan at the Kaohsiung Film Festival on Sat, Oct 25 and a panel with star/writer Jimmy Tsai on Sun, Oct 26th and screenings on Mon, Oct 27th and Wed Oct 29th.

With BETTER LUCK TOMORROW, we learned that the success of a film with Asian American faces means more visibility for three dimensional APA characters. We have a chance to continue proving to Hollywood that audiences will show up for films that have Asian American leads and stories by showing up in theaters with PING PONG PLAYA. If we don't, they will continue to cast movies like '21' with lead white actors, even though the role played in the book/true story was an Asian American. It's the opportunity for more films to be shown where we are doing more than kung fu or serving Chinese food.
