Moon Man winners now up on my blog here - http://drewgum.wordpress.com/2009/07/18/man-on-the-moon

-NEW COMPETITION-

The theme of this month's competition is 50 Word Moon Man.

On July 20th it will be 40 Years since Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. To celebrate this fact please post your 50 Word Moon Man stories on the wall.

They don't have to be about travel to the moon. They can be about anything you like as long as they are vaguely moon related. The world is your oyster, or at least, your moon.

Please post your stories by the 10th July and then the winners will appear on my blog on 18th July, just in time for the moonish celebrations.

This month's guest judge is the fabulously talented Aliya Whiteley, author, mother, RAF wife. Her latest book is 'Light Reading' currently available in paperback. But don't take my word for it, check her out on her website here - http://www.aliyawhiteley.com

The rules are simple. Simply post your 50 Word Recession stories on the wall of the site. Anything on the theme is fine; bums, down and outs, businesses going bust, shares crumbling, houses being repossessed. The more miserable the better. Or make yourself laugh. In fact, funny recession stories would be good, faint glimmers of hope and all that.

Winners will be announced on my blog Saturday 4th April.

There was no blood, no corpse. No investigation turned up a weapon. There was no motive and no means and only I could see the chalk outline on the carpet.
Arms, legs, a head - and in the centre of the chest a heart shaped hole.
Not murder exactly, but close.
