It has been announced that this uniquely singapore hotel will be demolished next year to make way for a subway line - the DownTown Line (DTL).
For the sake of redevelopments, reinventing our Singapore landscapes - much of our heritage is gone.
And now, this small dingy hotel - popular among backpackers - has to go.
Why not have the hot airballoon go? Why the hotel where potentially a niche but qualified tourists/revenue to Singapore tourism has to go because they have to dig under that area?

How can you help?
Go to REACH(Singapore's Feedback Unit) on Facebook, tell them you do not support demolishing the SSH. Let them know you think it's worth saving for!
*Note - I am not affiliated with REACH, or SSH. I'm tired of seeing many buildings of heritage has been demolished. The next generation can only depend on photos and videos - at the museum - to learn about the past. Isnt this sad? Why do we need to recreate when we can preserve what is authentic?
