Having both gigged solo for far too long (in a blatant attempt to get beer and girls) friends Miles McLean and Alexander Gow finally realized that sometimes two heads are better than one... and thus The Disclaimers were born! Neatly side-stepping the cliched US oriented rock favoured by many other bands they have taken their love of British and Irish bands and transferred it into an energetic and enjoyable stage show. Playing hits by artists as diverse as Franz Ferdinand, Ian Dury, The Cure, U2 and - yes - The Proclaimers, they have been entertaining crowds at bars, festivals and functions throughout South East Asia... and, with their vocal harmonies backed by acoustic guitar and probably the only electric mandola in Singapore, The Disclaimers deliver what can only be described as a unique experience!
