The recently dropped joint, Sweet Perswazion, showcases Steverino broadening his palette beyond Wesley Willis style MIDI tones into a deeper soundscape, with distortion, reverb, and punchy dance beats that resemble some sort of downtempo Dan Deacon with a touch of Jandek and Daniel Johnston in a rainbow-tinged, David Lynch-crafted Molotov cocktail of bizarro lounge singers-cum-prophets who have seen the true face of God.

EDIT: Come to think of it, Gary Wilson might be the most accurate description for those unfamiliar with Steverino's mystique, sans the creepy longing for "Linda."

Nobody knows where Steverino came from. He just starting showing up to Open Mic nights in the spring of 2006. Then... nothing was the same. Skies parted, food tasted differently. He instantly became a hero to all who were willing to bear witness to his astral theater. My B.A. in journalism served me no justice in trying to describe an artist as ethereal and forward thinking as S-Money. I certainly was astonished by what I saw the first time. So will you.
